Ayatullah Syed Mujtaba Rudbaari was born in Rasht, Iran. He was a very pious and humble scholar. He studied under Ayatullah Burujerdi, Ayatullah Syed al-Khui, Imam Khomeini and others. He was the founder of Amir al-Mu’mineen Library in Gilan, Iran He passed away on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 in Rasht, at the age of 89 years, and will be buried on Thursday 24th March 2022. Ayatullah Syed al-Sistani, Ayatullah Makarem Shirazi and other great scholars sent their condolences. May Allah (swt) raise his status in Jannah. Āmīn.
