Allama Shaykh Ali Kurani was born in 1944 (1363 AH) in Lebanon. He studied under Syed Mohsin al-Hakim, Syed Khui, Shaheed Sadr, and many other prominent scholars. His most important research was on Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf). He was a prolific author and wrote a number of books which are freely available on his website https://www.alameli.net/ He passed away on Sunday 19th May 2024 in Qum. Rahbar, Ayatullah Sistani and many other great scholars sent their condolences. His funeral prayers were held in Masjid Imam Hasan al-Askari (a). Syed Ali Milani led the prayers. His body was then transferred to Lebanon for burial.
