Abu Talib, as Allah (swt) willed, was the guardian of the Holy Prophet (saww) from when he was a small child. Abu Talib loved the Holy Prophet (s) just like his own son. He sacrificed his own life, wealth and status for him. He supported the Prophet (s) for about 42 years and showed great bravery and sacrifice during the last ten years of his life . The only factor which kept him so steadfast was his strong faith and his pure belief in the sacred mission of the Prophet (s).
