“O People! Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Allah. A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. It is the best of months. Its days are the best of days, its nights the best of nights, and its hours are the best of hours. It is the month in which you are invited to be the guests of Allah (swt). The breath that you take during this month has the reward of tasbih and your sleep therein has the reward of worship. Guard yourselves from the fire of hell by giving iftār even if it as little as half a date or just a glass of water.”
