Ayatullah Syed Kadhim Irfā’ was born in 1944 (1363 AH) in Tehran. He was a well-known teacher of Akhlaq (Islamic Ethics) in the Hawza Ilmiyyah in Tehran and has penned more than 50 books on a variety of different subjects. Some of his books are: a translation of the Holy Qur’an, a simple translation of Nahjul Balagha, and a translation of Sahifa Sajjadiyya, among others. He passed away on Wednesday 25th Rabi’al-Awwal 1445 AH (11th October 2023) in Tehran. Rahbar and many other great scholars sent their condolences. He was buried on Friday morning. Many students and scholars attended his funeral.
