Syed Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr was born on 1st March 1935 in Kadhimiyya and was martyred on 9th April 1980 in Baghdad. He is buried in Wadi al-Salaam in Najaf. At the age of 25, he started teaching at the level of Ijtihad. Truly a great achievement! Not only was he a Mujtahid himself, but he was teaching other scholars to become Mujtahids.
